Macy was tired from the workout she'd had with Luther her personal trainer.
She had everything, and everyone had wanted her.
But the only person she wanted was Ryder
It was her 25th birthday and she knew her wealthy parents would indulge their cash in a huge "surprise" bash for her.
Her parents also wanted to set her up with Rodney the owner of a wildly popular clothing line in Willow Creek.
She came from "work"at her fathers real estate agency and predictably found herself surrounded by a crowd of people screaming "happy birthday!"at her,
but..
when she went to the kitchen she found her darkest secret signalling her to come near the window.
It was Ryder, he told her to meet him behind a shrub in the backyard.
He was still as dreamy and handsome as Macy had remembered.
Ryder told her that after he escaped to Oasis Springs he realized that running wasn't worth it, he would be with her even if it meant her parents would try to hire someone to murder him.
He asked her to flee to New Crest with him, be together, get married start a family together someday.
She agreed to run away with him, escape the plastic town she had lived in for all those years and finally be with her one true love.
But little did she known someone was watching...
